At High Eye Aerial Imaging, we pride ourselves on using leading-edge technology whenever we work on aerial photography projects. This enables us to capture unique, stunning images and video footage for our clients that would be unattainable if traditional image collection methods were used. To give you a better feel for our capabilities, we want to introduce you to some of our aerial photography equipment, particularly the Quest UAV and the CineStar 8.
The Quest UAV
The Quest UAV is a fixed wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) with a single-engine flying wing design. Its 2-metre wingspan is extremely impressive, and it can penetrate winds in excess of 50 kilometres per hour. Capable of carrying multiple payloads weighing up to 2 kilograms, its gimballed camera mount ensures the images it collects are extremely clear.
We use the Quest UAV for large area orthomosaic projects because it can fly autonomously for up to 45 minutes.
The CineStar 8
Constructed with carbon fiber material, the CineStar 8 is a UAV that holds an eight engine, multi-rotor aircraft. It uses eight electric motors that are powered by Lithium polymer rechargeable batteries.
We use the CineStar 8 for a variety of different purposes. For example, while we primarily use it for aerial photography and videography, it can also be used for aerial mapping, aerial promotions, and aerial surveying.
